Fully Abstract
With these pieces I am seeking to resist the temptation to resolve my mark-making into suggestions of landscape or other recognizable features. Instead, I hope to hold myself in a more emotional zone and allow my movements of paint onto the surface to reflect what I'm feeling or experiencing, no matter where that leads.
